Communicate With Your Pastor

The importance of communicating with your pastor

This has the potential to be a game changer for the way you lead worship at your church.

If you aren't already communicating with your pastor before your worship gatherings start the conversation today!

The best way to start is to send them a text and ask "where are you headed on Sunday?" Use the information they provide to plan your worship set. Musical worship and teaching can both be amazing on their own but imagine the impact they would have if they worked to support each other.

Imagine if the songs you lead introduced the topic your pastor was preaching on. Then imagine if the song you sang after your pastor spoke was a response to what was just taught.

I know the push back on this: my pastor doesn't know what they're preaching on until a few days before our gathering. I've found that simply asking the pastor for a song suggestion will subconsciously have them making a decision about what they're preaching on. So just ask! Send that text! Make that call! Start that conversation!
