I challenge you to introduce yourself to someone you don't know on Sunday.
You know that person I'm talking about.
The one who shows up to church a little bit early but quickly makes their way into the worship space and sits in the back row.
Go talk to them.
Even if they've been coming for a while and you haven't talked to them yet - it doesn't have to be awkward.
Let me help.
Say this: "Hey! My name's (insert your name here). I've seen you a lot around here but haven't introduced myself yet. What's your name?"
They tell you their name. You shake their hand and say, "It's nice to meet you." You ask them if they live around here. They say, "Yep! I've lived here my whole life." You make casually conversation about the weather for a moment. Then say, "Well, the countdown's about to start. I've got to head up and get ready to lead worship. It was nice meeting you (insert their name here)."
Now that's not so scary is it?
Before you lead tomorrow morning, go find someone you haven't talked to before and introduce yourself!
